B-52 is an Indica-dominant hybrid. It has a musty, moist and pungent aroma with a hint of sweet pine; its CBD level is a low at 0.1% – 1% and it has moderate THC levels of 15% to 18%. As an easy-to-grow strain, it has a flowering time of around 9 weeks.
It is a cross between two old-school skunk strains: Big Bud and Skunk #1. The result is a high yielding hybrid. It’s a good choice for new growers because it’s highly resilient and requires very little maintenance. Once in bloom, it won’t grow beyond around 1.5 m tall and will only take around 8 – 10 weeks. Feminised B-52 is an excellent variety for smaller indoor spaces, growing with a short but bush-like appearance. It is able to produce 500 – 550 g / m². The 18% THC level means that it has a good blend of potency from both its Indica and Sativa influences. Especially appealing is the way it smells and thus retains its old-school Skunk vibes.
This premium hybrid got its name from the Boeing B-52, because it can at once get you very high, but it can bring you down just as fast. A very well balanced high, you will feel the full effects of both the indica and sativa influences. Due to its potency, however, we would generally advise smoking this at night.
The initial effects are upbeat and cerebral, followed by a weighty, slow burning effect. Medical marijuana patients might find it particularly helpful for stress relief, alleviating headaches or migraines, muscular or menstrual cramps, joint aches and pains, it can induce deep sleep and reduce feelings of tension and anxiety.
