Developed by Doc’s Dank Seeds, Bear Creek Kush is a perfectly balanced hybrid cannabis strain that was created by the crossing of the classic Blueberry Haze with Mr. Valley Kush. It resulted in a 50-50 indica sativa that is hard to find outside of the West Coast.
However, despite its rarity, Bear Creek Kush quickly became a favourite of breeders and users thanks to its delicious flavours and well balanced effects. Upon the inhale, Bear Creek Kush has a sweet blueberry taste than turns sour and citrusy with hints of lime on the exhale. It has a similar aroma, but there is a heavy pungency that quickly builds up, which is important to be aware of if you wish to be subtle.
The high from Bear Creek Kush does not take long to make itself known. It begins with a subtle tingle in the spine and neck, and then slowly spreads out throughout the rest of the body. It is not a particularly potent strain, with THC levels of up to 20%, which makes it suitable for experienced and newcomer smokers.
It is also quite popular with medicinal users and it has been reported to help with conditions such as depression, chronic pain, nausea or appetite loss and chronic stress or anxiety.
Bear Creek Kush has cone-shaped olive green nugs with deep blue undertones and they are covered with orange hairs and thick coating of frosty trichomes. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors and will have a flowering time of around 8 weeks when grown indoors.
