Black 84 is a bit of a mystery. Not much is known of its origins and what is thought to be known is based on speculation. The lineage of this strain isn’t widely known, but some sources claim it’s a cross of Mendocino Purps and Black Domina, both popular and powerful strains. The effects, however, are pretty consistent and go right along with what one would expect from an indica-dominant strain.
The buds of Black 84 are dense with lime green leaves and a layer of trichome crystals. The aromas that emanate from these buds is candy-like, with caramel and cream overtones complemented by hints of sour fruit. There is a lovely, creamy, fruity flavour to Black 84 that accompanies the rich aroma.
The high is mellow in nature and fairly low-key. Black 84 also generates a pleasant, relaxed body high, all due to its indica-dominant genes.
The CBD in the strain makes it great for aches, pain, muscle tension and spasms, cramps, and soreness. It also can greatly benefit those who suffer from depression and insomnia.
As is to be expected with super rare strains, grow information for this one is elusive, to say the least. Although if you are in Washington State or even many parts of Oregon, you should little or no trouble getting your hands on seeds or buds.
Although it is a rarity in most places, Black 84, for those who have experienced it, is a joy to behold and a perfectly mellow after-dinner treat.
