Banana Glue is a hybrid cannabis strain that was created by crossing Strawberry Banana with Gorilla Glue. It is a 50/50 hybrid with THC levels of around 17% and its dominant terpene is Caryophyllene. However, it has been known to have THC levels as high as 26% and much will depend on how it is grown.
The strain has notes of skunk and lime in the overall aroma and flavour. There are also some earthy notes together with hints of citrus. However, as the name suggests, the dominant taste is that of bananas. The plant has small and dense yellow-green nugs complete with bright amber hairs and a coating of golden crystal trichomes.
The high from Banana Glue builds gradually and slowly washes over the user before leaving them sedated and relaxed for hours on end. There is a sense of euphoria throughout and a tingling that starts in the centre of the body and spreads outwards. It is a distracting and stoney happiness, that leaves people distant but at ease. The body high also grows and while it may not lead to total couch lock, it can leave people feeling very lazy.
Banana Glue can be grown both indoors and outdoors. It is considered an easy strain to grow, so it is a good choice for beginners, and seeds are not hard to come by. The plants will reach heights of around 60 inches when cultivated properly and they will flower in around 60 days. The plants will produce an average yield of around 400 grams per square meter, but it can be as much as 600 grams per square meter.
