The pair first met when they were at high school in New England in 2007. Their shared love for cannabis created an instant bond between them and they began to experiment with cannabis cultivation. They both became part of the Rhode Island Caregiver Program and they quickly became known as some of the top growers in Rhode Island. They received excellent feedback from patients and dispensaries were interested in their flower, from this Zach & Ted’s Excellent Cannabis was born.
Thinking about the future, Zach and Ted then started extracting cannabis for their homemade concentrates and edibles. As they gained experienced, they found that their superior cannabis strains produced excellent concentrates. In 2015 they began to develop their signature phenotype strains and in 2016 they ventured out to become owners of their own cultivation center.
Zach and Ted have a hands-on approach to their business and spend a great deal of their time inspecting their cultivation rooms or in their state of the art extraction laboratory.
