Robhots traces its roots back to January 2014 when its founders were “toying” around with different edible recipes. They were using left over materials from their medical grow and made gummies for those who had legitimate medical reasons for them.
The company’s name comes from the simple robot shaped mold that they began making their gummies in. They claim to have spent days trying out different combinations of names, but in the end chose Robhots as at the time they were using butane hash oil (BHO) to make the gummies. The logic was that if they were putting BHO into robots, then they should put BHO into the name, hence Robhots.
After a great deal of work, Robhots products became available in Colorado stores and the first commercially available Robhots gummies became available in September 2015.
To this day, they work with almost the same recipe and the same shaped molds to create their gummies. The recipe has been adjusted to improve shelf life, and they now have a 150mg multipack to go with the 100mg single serve gummy.
In 2016 the company released Hashwraps, a 100% all natural fruit rollup that is infused with bubble hash. They believe that the combination of all-natural fruit and ice and water extracted bubble hash makes it one of the healthiest edibles available.
When new regulations came into effect in Colorado in 2016 they were forced to make a number of changes. In order to stay compliant within the Colorado Medical Market they were forced to redesign their logo, gummies and packaging.
This resulted in an improved recipe that was softer and had a better consistency. Furthermore, all the gummies are now infused with raw THC distillate, a tasteless form of THC that averages upwards of 96% THC. Thanks to this, the new gummies are extremely consistent with both flavor and dosage.
Most recently the company has also added recreational Robhots. They offer recreational gummies flavored with berries, citrus, fruits, reds and tropical. They have now teamed up with Focused Labs Oil, a specialized producer of high quality concentrates and distillates. They now have plans to launch CBD gummier, vegan-friendly gummies, sugar free gummies, and more!
