Amnesia Ganja Haze is an award winning sativa cannabis strain that was developed by Sumo Seeds. The strain is a combination of the famous Amnesia Haze (one of Amsterdam’s most famous strains) and Silver Buddha Haze. The combination of the two won Sumo Seeds first place at the 2017 Semana y Copa Cannabica for Best Sativa, first prize for Best Indoor and Premio Especial Del Publico (Best Overall at the 2017 Il Castello Cannabis Cup), as well as second place at the 2017 San Canuto Cup on the island of Fuerteventura.
The strain’s lineage is extremely complex and international with genetics from Thai, Laotian, Jamaican, Afghani, Hawaiian and Cambodian strains. Sumo Seeds believes that it is one of the most potent strains in its collection and that is why it named it ‘Ganja’, the Sanskrit word for highly potent cannabis.
When smoked there are flavors of citrus and pine, but smokers should be warned that it is a pungent smell. The high is creative and euphoric, perfect for socializing as it makes people extremely talkative. It is a long lasting high that is hugely popular with those who enjoy sativa strains in general and haze in particular. As is usual with cannabis, it can cause dry eyes and dry mouth.
Thanks to its properties, the strain has also been known to help with those who suffer from chronic pains, such as muscle aches or headaches, as well as stress and insomnia.
It can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Indoors it has a flowering time of roughly 11 to 12 weeks and it will produce a yield of 400-450 g/m2.
