A Sativa Dominant Hybrid Strain

This little gem of a strain was, allegedly created by an unknown medical cannabis patient in Sonoma, California. This clever entrepreneur decided to cross the White Widow, Skunk, Big Bud and Northern Lights #5 strains that resulted in this thoroughly effective and enjoyable bud. With its sativa dominance and moderately low 11-15% average THC level, this bud all but guarantees an exceptional mental high, as well as a mellow body buzz.

The buds of Blue Dot have small, dense pepper-shaped dark forest green nugs, with dark orange hairs, a high volume of cloudy white trichomes and a sticky layer of sweet resin.  When broken apart, the buds release aromas of sweet fruit, similar to cherries, into the air. The flavours are composed of pungent earth and berries, with hints of pepper on the exhale.

The high from Blue Dot tends to creep up on the user, but when it arrives, it hits hard. A tidal wave of euphoric energy will submerge the user in an ocean of pure bliss and creativity that enables analytical thinking and problem-solving. Alternatively, owing to its energetic and motivational properties, users may find themselves wanting to engage in physical activities, such as hiking or taking a brisk run, or even cleaning the house. Blue Dot also will bestow upon the user the ability to properly engage in social situations, where conversation will flow freely and easily. As the cerebral high reaches its peak, the physical effects will start to trickle down to the body. Soon, the warm buzz will soothe aching muscles and promote pure relaxation. While its physical high can be profound, it is not likely to cause couch-lock or sleep.

Due to these wonderful effects and its modest 11-15% THC level, Blue Dot is said to be an ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as chronic stress, mild to moderate cases of depression, fatigue, nausea, and chronic pain due to illness or injury.

Blue Dot seeds are not available, as it is a clone-only strain. If a prospective grower is fortunate enough to obtain clippings, then it can be grown indoors and out. For indoors, this plant will flower in 9 to 10 weeks. Outdoors, expect it to flower in the third week of October.
